How to convert a PDF table to HTML

TableHTML HK creates a self-contained HTML file from each scanned page. Instead of flattening everything into a single text stream, it uses the detected page coordinates and table structure to keep the result visually close to the PDF. The converter is currently free.

When HTML is the useful output

Convert a table-heavy PDF

  1. Open the free converter and select a PDF up to 50 MB and 20 pages.
  2. Wait while each scanned page is reconstructed.
  3. Review alignment, row boundaries, merged headings and values in the browser result.
  4. Download HTML for the visual reconstruction or Excel for spreadsheet work.

Coordinate-preserving does not mean pixel-perfect

The output aims to keep blocks in the same relative positions and retain useful table structure. Font differences, faint ruling lines, overlapping text and unusual merged cells can change spacing or grouping. Verify the HTML against the PDF before publishing it or relying on extracted figures.

Custom HTML structures

If you need responsive tables, branded templates, accessibility refinements or a fixed data schema, email billycheung2210@gmail.com with a redacted source page and an example of the intended result.
